Message from the Chair of Governors

We’re pleased to say that St Richard’s has had a

fantastic start to the new school year. The enthusiasm

from both pupils and staff has been brilliant, and we’re

excited about what’s to come.

This term also marks an important moment as we

officially joined the BOSCO Trust on 1st October.

We’re proud to be part of a wider community that

shares our values and aims. A big thank you to Dave

Carter, CEO of the BOSCO Trust, for making us feel

so welcome and supported.

As we begin this new chapter, we’re inspired by the

words of Pope Leo XIV:

“Without fear, united, hand in hand with God and

among ourselves, we will go forward.”

We’d love for you to stay involved - whether it’s

joining us at upcoming events, supporting your child’s

learning, or sharing your thoughts with us. Your

involvement makes a real difference.

Thank you for your continued support. We’re looking

forward to a year full of growth, learning, and shared

success.

Kirsty Eydmann,

Chair of Governors

Dear Parents, Carers and Friends of St Richard’s,

As we step into October, the PTFA would like to thank

everyone for their amazing support so far this term. We’re

delighted to share that the recent Year 7 & 8 Disco was

a fantastic success - the pupils had a great evening, and

together we raised over £1,300 for the school! Your continued

support, whether through volunteering, donating, or simply

joining in at events, makes such a big difference to our school

community - thank you. We’re now looking ahead to an

exciting few weeks with several special events coming up:

Grandparents’ Mass – a wonderful celebration with our

extended school family.

Year 12 Prize Giving – recognising the hard work and

achievements of our senior pupils.

Christmas Fayre – one of the highlights of the year, and

we’d love your help to make it a success!

If you would like to join us and help in any way - through

donations, raffle prizes or volunteering - we would really

appreciate it!

We apologise if you have already shared your details and

we haven’t yet been in touch - we truly value everyone’s

willingness to help. We’re looking forward to getting more

parents and friends involved so that, together, we can continue

to help our already fantastic school thrive.

With warm regards, The PTFA Team
